Nicola Hanmer has been in the food and hospitality business for more than 30 years, She joined St Catherine’s in 2013 in the newly created role of Commercial Catering Manager, having previously worked at UCLan, LCC, British Airways and Wembley Stadium. Nicola is an ardent Lancashire Foodie Lass and enjoys live music and festivals. She loves travelling and walking in the Forest of Bowland and Lancashire countryside.

Michael Brand, Food Production Manager, is passionate about great, local and seasonal food. Michael spent his youth in the West Midlands where he attended catering college. He went on to work for a number of years in some of Lancashire’s finest food establishment kitchens. He is excited about creating dishes for The Mill Café, and has lots of exciting menu ideas. Michael’s focus at St Catherine’s is all things food. As well as a keen amateur five-a-side football player, Michael enjoys time in his allotment when time allows as he has three young children.

Linda Warren and Kris Peterson are our cooks at The Mill and are also passionate about good food. They all bring enthusiasm, imaginative flare and inspiration to the business through their many years of catering experience. They love to work with some of the finest locally sourced ingredients available.

Nicola Smith and Lorna Jones, Food Service Assistants, are ready to greet you with a smile. They are efficient, smile all day and share our passion for great customer service.
