People are at the centre of everything we do at St Catherine’s Hospice. We’re recruiting a bank customer services supervisor who is just as passionate about anticipating and exceeding customer expectations to join our thriving hospitality team at The Mill café and outside catering.
Although previous experience of the hospitality sector would be beneficial, it is not essential – if you can demonstrate evidence of supervising a team to deliver exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you. Full training and up-skilling to meet the requirements of the position will be provided, making it a fantastic opportunity for someone with existing transferable skills who is looking for a new challenge in a diverse, rewarding environment.
In summary the successful applicant will:
- Supervise The Mill Café and The Mill Outside front of house operations, along with food service in the hospice, ensuring staff are effectively deployed and daily tasks allocated and completed efficiently and to high standards
- Be a role model to the front of house team, demonstrating the highest standards of service and motivating the team to deliver service which exceeds customer expectations
- Ensure a clean, welcoming and safe environment is maintained
- Be calm and organised under pressure and able to ensure the smooth, effective running of the team even during busy periods
